Welcome to the world's largest holiday themed costume group bicycle ride for charity!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2nd!


This ride is a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Fed. It raises key matching and unrestricted funds that support education and advocacy efforts to make biking better in Wisconsin! To find out more about our programs and mission please visit our website.

This is a Slow Roll-style, Police-Escorted, 12ish mile looped route. 

Ride start: Two ride start options are available. They both end at the Bike Fed office.

1. Join the start and do a full loop ride from the Bike Fed office in Bay View and back. ~12 miles

2. Join the at Hollander Grand Cafe on Downer Ave and ride the 2nd half. ~6 miles

3. AND! A short 3 mile very family friendly ride the "Elf Cycle Frenzy" led by our Safe Routes instructors will leave from the start finish line immediately after the main ride leaves and ride through the Bay View neighborhood and come back for hot cocoa. Register for this same as main ride and stay tuned for emails to registered riders with more details.

NOTE: PLEASE denote your starting point in the registration process. Ride DOES NOT STOP AT HOLLANDER, we slowly ride by and ask you to merge into a moving group. No support or escorted return to Downer is offered. Ride ends back at the Bike Fed office.

Bike Fed office: 187 E. Becher St. in BAY VIEW or HOLLANDER Grand Cafe on Downer: 2608 N Downer Ave

Ride leaves at 9:30am SHARP. Bike Fed/Wheel and Sprocket gathering opens at 8AM.  Breakfast snacks and drinks are available for purchase. Hollander opens at 8AM and has food and drinks for purchase.  USE RIDE WITH GPS: ROUTE HERE It is a 12ish mile route that will loop and return to the start by 11:30am. This ride does not stop. It is a continuous "slow roll" style and you are free to leave the ride anytime you wish. (note: until December 1st this route is subject to minor tweaks due to road or weather factors.)

NEW THIS YEAR! There are ticket options that include mystery gifts from Santa! While supplies last get a special gift as a thank you for supporting us at the Bike Fed. Please make sure to pick up any and all merch and registration items at one of the pre-check in events or day of the ride. We are not shipping items after the event. 


NOTE: AS OF 11/28 3pm: We have sold out of all ticket levels that include gifts or add ons. Day of registration tickets options are still available for kids, single, or double adults, but they only include a sticker pack. That can be picked up at Hollander on Downer or Bay View before the ride. This will also help us keep you in the loop early for next year. Thank you for supporting the Bike Fed! Day of event at Bike Fed tent in Wheel and Sprocket parking lot or Hollander on Downer at Bike Fed Tent. 8:00am-9:00AM Sharp cutoff time! Or after the ride from 11:45-12:45 at Wheel and Sprocket parking lot. 

PRE-PICK UP on DECEMBER 1st from 2-6pm at Joy Ride Cafe inside Wheel and Sprocket Bay View. If not picked up at PRE event on 11/30 or 12/1 your merch will be available at your starting location only UNITL 9am! AFTER that all merch must be picked up at Bike Fed office starting Monday, Dec 4th. No shipping of items will be provided.

Ride safe, be nice! If you are driving in then riding parking is suggested along Bay St. east of KK Ave. or on S. 1st St. Of course riding your bike to the start is the best way to get around. Please do not leave anything of value in your car. 

The ride will end back at the Bike Fed office. Kegel's Inn and Joy Ride Cafe will be set up there with food and drinks!
